Gamified Outfit Builder App
Secondhand fashion apps usually feel like a chore dressed up as shopping. But this one is different. For this Skövde-based startup, we designed the product and UX for an app that turns resale into a game instead: browse outfit ideas, swipe to build a look on a mannequin in seconds, save your favorites, and unlock rewards that keep people coming back.
Brand Strategy
The starting bet was that people don't actually want to browse secondhand clothing, they want to play with it. The outfit builder turns each browsing session into a quick swipe-and-build loop, and a built-in reward mechanic keeps the game feeling like a game rather than a marketplace with items in it.
Brand Identity Design
The visual system stays out of the way on purpose. A white canvas, a single black accent for buttons and tags, and clean sans-serif type, so the clothing itself supplies all the color. That restraint carries through the design components too, the same rounded pill buttons and card layouts repeat from the outfit builder to the product pages, so the interface feels like one system rather than several screens stitched together.
Brand Experience Design
The outfit builder works category by category. Swipe through tops, then bottoms, then shoes, watching each choice layer onto a mannequin in real time so you're always picturing the look on yourself instead of scrolling through listings one at a time. That instant feedback keeps people building toward a finished look instead of dropping off mid-browse, which is what actually turns views into sales.
